Why Start A Home Based Business Through Internet Marketing?

Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to start their own home based internet marketing business. Some people find that it is an easy means to supplement their income. That is, they don’t earn enough from their primary employment and they try different means of supplementing their main income. Some people are doing it full time. Those marketers can do full time internet marketing is because their income derived from internet marketing is more than their employment income.

Why internet marketing and not other home based business? Internet marketing has no fixed working hours, no specific working place, no dress code and it can be automated. Some marketers will tell you that this give them a better quality of life. How so? Well, they are not restricted by the working hours of an employee and thus they can spend more time with their families. Also, they can plan their family holidays much better because they are not restricted by the employee’s annual leave entitlement each year.

Well, for me as a business owner, I realized that my current business is all about me. Yes, if I am not around, then the business will not run. So, to free myself from this bondage, I decide to try to build a business that can run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with a global market. Mind you, I am not referring to 7-11 franchise.

Yes, regardless of what people’s reasons are, there is one common factor, FREEDOM! Freedom to spend time on what ever is important to us. It can be family, hobbies, or even freedom from debt!

I think I can safely say that our dream job is to do something we have passion and interest, and make money out of it. Lots of money too. Not only that, we also want to have flexible time on when and where we work! Which boss will actually fulfill what we want and still pay us for it? No one except your own boss can do that. You work on your own terms and get paid for it as well.

If you are employed, then you work on the company’s terms, not yours. Of course you may negotiate for better terms but it is still under their terms. You may or may not like your job. You have a boss who is breathing down your neck. You have the company’s target to achieve. Your minimum working hours are fixed but maximum hour varies with workload. Finally, where you work is dictated by your terms of employment, and the list goes on…

We have all been there and done that right? Wrong, most of us are still there, doing it and not done with it yet.

I have met a few individuals who have started their own internet business and most of them are doing well. They are my motivation on this new venture. Like many internet market newbie, I don’t have a product to sell, so affiliate program is my first step. Internet marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. It is a business, hence, you need time to build it up. Once it is up and running, money will flow in. Of course once you have the know-how, you can easily replicate your technique and earn from multiple source which increases your income.

I encourage everyone to start their own internet marketing business now and be your own boss with lots of flexibility in time. What’s the point of being financially free but no time to spend on your passion?
